What are Meat Robots? Well, they’re you and me and every living soul in this world of contradictions, wrestling with the forces—seen and unseen— trying to take hold. 

In a world that is quick to rationalize famine, murder, and war, there are parts in every one of us that have been conditioned by the disillusioned “truth;” these are our robotics. The robot does not create, it copies, pastes and imitates.

The “Meat” is the real, it’s our humanity. The other side of the dichotomy we all live in—The Truth. This music is a transmission, with antennae pointed with aim to answer our questions over what is fake, what is real, what is merely of the world and what is other worldly. Rather than bask in a decadent comfort of blissful ignorance and virtual humility, we are more interested in analyzing just how disconnected we have become, how willing people are to believe in logical fallacies in order to hold on to their dopamine streams. 

The mission with Meat Robots is to let the “meat” of our collective humanity defeat the “robot” of convenience. We are opening a dialogue and ongoing workshop to like minded artists, professionals, co-ops, communities and individuals who want to work with us—contribute a piece of their humanity to our project so as to step away from the Robots and get into the Meat. We all have the internal battle waging between the flesh and the spirit. Between the “robot” and the “meat” of who we are and who we aim to be. We are all Meat Robots, and WE strive for Truth.
